My review of the new Tazew MLM program. Tazew is marketing both a blogging platform and marketing training (I must assume the marketing training only covers blogging). The program launched in July 2013 and its founders are Dave Lear, Wallace Nunez, and Jeff Whelan. The programs URL is "tazew.com" and
could be out of Dallas, TX (this is unknown since no information is provided on either the URL registration or website except a mention of Dallas, TX in its Terms and Conditions). The URL registration is set to private so no company name, address, phone number, or email address is unknown.
Program founders Dave Lear and Jeff Whelan are currently involved in VidaCup (BehindMLM review) as affiliates, and Wallace Nunez (under the name Wallace Nuanez on his blog “WorkWithWallace”) is a Empower Network affiliate. One RED FLAG can be found in Tazew’s “cancellation and refund policy", as it appears to link to the previously launched Mobile Blog Pro (BehindMLM review) MLM program. Other similarities to Mobile Blog Pro is that the Tazew.com URL are using the same hosting company (Xeex) and hosting IP addresses.
How Does Tazew Work? Affiliate membership is $20, with affiliates required to “upgrade” by auto-paying $29.95 a month to qualify to earn. The comp plan is different from a affiliates first month and every month afterwords. During an affiliates first month, affiliates are paid on a 2X3 matrix as follows. New affiliate sign ups on level one are paid $25 at each ($50 maximum) and the next two matrix levels pay out $3 for each paying affiliate that they sign up ($36 maximum).
From the second month going foreword, commissions are paid using a 2Xunlimited matrix with new affiliate sign ups filling down line matrix positions. Commissions are paid using a pairing system, with Tazew pairing one paying affiliate on one matrix leg with another paying affiliate on the other matrix leg. For each pair a $10 commission is paid out.
A program wide Powerline commission is paid when three new affiliates sign up and all three watch a Tazew training webinar. The Powerline commission pays out $3 for the first person, $2 for the second and $1 for the third. In order to qualify for this commission, an affiliate themselves must have watched this same training webinar.
My Opinion.... The first thing that I have noticed is that the Tazew program and Mobile Blog Pro program are almost identical. And the fact that both of these MLM's are almost copy cat's to the the ClickBank Powerline Commission product. Between the two MLM's you have the same bundled product theme, same monthly fee (only the upfront costs are different), same website design, hosting, advertising copy and legal disclaimers.
Now the fact the Tazew has no retail-able products or services does not concern me very much, since the only customers that would be interested in joining this would be people interested in a blog marketing training program that includes a comp plan (take Empower Network for example). Of course this does put the program into the pyramid scheme classification, but since its membership will be mostly based on other online marketers, I would not worry about this.
Since the Mobile Blog Pro MLM has never really went anywhere and Tazew MLM is pretty much a copy cat of that program, I would not be surprised if it also goes nowhere. And the need to recruit a very large Tazew paying affiliate down line, just to be able to earn any substantial income, will also hurt this program.
Also I would NEVER give money to a MLM program that "hides" their company information, as it could "shut-down" tomorrow and you would be out your money with no recourse.
Plus why would any want-to-be blogger pay for this when everybody knows that you can get a blog site (from Google Blogger), blogging software (from WordPress), blogging training (from sites like EzineArticles, Blogger), and online marketing training (from sites like MyPIP, MyPIPcpa, Free&Powerful, plus many more) for FREE. Take my word, as an experienced income earning blogger, "there is NO magic blogging secret to making money from a blog".
Just My Opinion,
