Stop! Affiliate Marketers Do Not Make Another Online Purchase Until You Read This ...

Nov 22nd 2010 at 8:40 PM

Have you ever thought about how we have slowly been switched over to credit/debit card online tracking as the norm instead of checkbook/check register tracking?

Well, I have.

The only reason I thought about it is because now that I am an online affiliate marketer, I have a Paypal account setup which let's me use my credit/debit card to pay monthly to the affiliate programs that I have signed up with to have for my business.

I can't remember the last time I used my checkbook/check register to make an online purchase.

Now that I am using my debit/credit card to make online purchases, I didn't realize how important it was to write down the amount of the monthly debits and the dates these transactions will take place.

I started getting emails from Paypal saying that my account has been debited for this and then another email saying my account has been debited for that and before the month is over, I have maybe 7 debits that I hadn't really thought about until after it had taken place.

When this happens and you really didn't want to continue with a program that maybe you were going to try out for 30 days or 3 months or 6 months, you have to contact the company to get your money back.  Hopefully this isn't a painful process.

So, what I decided to do is to be proactive!  I have decided to use Track It! Slips to write down the programs that I signup for.

This is the way Track It! Slips work, you write on the slips, the last four digits of the debit/credit card that you will be using to make your online purchase.  You then make the purchase and write on the Track It! Slips the name of the company, what you purchased, the trial period date and the amount of the monthly payment.

On the back slide of the Track It! Slip, you can write down the next time this payment will be due.

This is such a simple and needed concept that even a caveman can do it - lol.
