Social media marketing doesn’t have to take up your time

Dec 22nd 2015 at 3:01 PM

Your probably already signed up for 1-2 social network sites as it is, so why not utilise them ?There’s abit to learn , because each network has its own strengths and weaknesses , which makes it difficult to know where you should make a start .
Thia article has been written to help you to lay out a plan you can use to get  more out of your social media marketing effort , starting with how to avoid turning your social time into just a waste of time .

Facebook and Twitter are aiming at the social side, and with games like Mafia Wars and Farmville, distracting quizzes or Twitter parties its not bad joining in. A great game on Facebook is poker to pick up new friends ,just be friendly say Hi & Goodbye and you`ll be surprised how many requests will start rolling in.
Try make it a habit to check in once a week, respond to messages , post updates. Limit your time to 20 or 30 minutes , make the time to connect with family or friends , and  to play . If you do end up playing poker , try setting a limit on how many friends you like to accept while around the table , i found a good tactic is to say hi to everyone the minute i take my seat when playing , its amazing how fast six or seven requests will come , then move to another table and repeat .
A lot of people that are new to social media marketing will make the mistake of going straight for the marketing side and forget all about  the social part , and that will lead nowhere , fast . If all you  do is drop links to the latest affiliate programme your  promoting , it wont take too long before your followers and likes begin to disappear . And the same with too much socialising too , if all you talk about is  kids or the weather , you wont make  many sales either .So get the balance right and you will be half way there .
Social media doesn’t have to be all work and no play.
