Penguin-proof your SEO for 2013 | Get with the program...

Jan 24th 2013 at 1:16 AM

Here's an article I published recently. I've selected it to share here on IM faceplate because it's a list of resources that will come in handy throughout 2013. Enjoy!

SEO fads will come and go. The challenge is optimizing your website for search engines in a way that will withstand the next Google algorithm change (thank you very much Panda and Penguin... not!). Here is a quick list of my 'top five' recommended resources for Penguin-proof SEO this coming year. Here's to being prepared with the best practice SEO in 2013...

  1. LazyAssStoner.com :: Stonerbucks

    I've reviewed StonerBucks previously on this site, but I want to mention him again here. This guy knows what he is talking about. This is my first recommendation when it comes to SEO tips and education. He keeps an awesome free (and very detailed) blog, or you can purchase his very cool eBook... best 25 bucks I ever spent.

  2. My Blog :: The Best Of Making Money Online

    Ok, it might seem like I'm shamelessly promoting my own blog here (and I guess I am), but in reality it's one of the few reliable sources of information I can confidently recommend. I only post articles here that I've researched and written myself - that way I can be sure they're accurate and worthy of bearing my name. In all seriousness, I spend stupid amounts of time researching and writing my articles... my husband truly hates it. In any case, if you ask me my website's worth a look... if nothing else it's completely free!

  3. SEO Checklist for 2013 :: Squidoo.com

    I don't know where I've ever found a more helpful SEO article. Authored by Pixelrage on squidoo.com, this article is an absolute MUST READ for anyone needing commonsense advice about SEO. Go forth and read!

  4. What Is SEO for 2013 :: Squidoo.com

    Yet another super helpful article found on squidoo.com, authored by Aunt-Molly - check it out by clicking here. This article is a godsend for anyone who has ever typed "what is SEO" into a search engine and been totally confused by the search results... like me.

  5. SEOmoz Daily Blog

    SEOmoz Daily Blog represents real value for your zero dollars. Oh how I love free education. There is a WEALTH of valuable information available over at this blog, including loads of tips and tricks and good sense articles. This is truly set to be one of the great SEO resources for 2013... in my humble opinion.

Well, there you have it - my 'top 5 SEO resources for 2013'. If you're anything like me you'll find this list very useful. I need all the help I can get, and preferably for free.

That's all from me today, so until next time I wish you happy SEOing, and good luck! Oh and while you're here, do please leave me a comment - I'd love to hear from you.
