Paid To Click ! Is it worth it ?

This is basically pointed at `newbie` marketers, to help stop them from becoming dis-heartened with marketing.

Ok, eyes down and were off and running........

Are PTC (Paid To Click) sites really worth the effort of signing up to ? Yes, for the companies who advertise them. They get paid a hell of a lot to advertise the sites that you stare at and earn ........wait for it..........$0.001 per page, that you view.

I know you think I`m talking rubbish, go and take a look for yourself. Just Google it.

They pay, on average $0.001 per click. You cannot leave the page before the 20 seconds timer is finished. You will average two per minute. Multiply that by 60 minutes and you are roughly earning $0.12 per hour. Do that for 8 hours without stopping and you will earn a massive $0.96 for a whole day`s work !

That is the worst thing I have ever seen. Is it slave labour ? People are duped into signing up for these sites that say you can earn $5,000 per month doing this. I will leave you to work that out, because I can`t.

All I`m saying here is, all of you new marketing folk out there, BEWARE. You will get so confused with this type of career, you will give up on it, guaranteed.

Ask around, you will soon see who is telling you the truth and who wants you to be their private ATM.

Good insights, Steve. If someone is going to have any chance of making PTC activity a meaningful source of income he/she will need to build a team on which there are overrides being paid too. Of course, if one can build a team to do PTC then those skill sets could be employed with other programs for likely better gains. ~L
