One Secret to Online Network Marketing Success

They tell me that online network marketing is a numbers game: you load your Internet Marketing funnel with as many prospects as you possibly can and hope a few good ones fall out the bottom.

But the challenge doesn’t stop there. Getting someone to sign up for your Internet income opportunity doesn’t mean they will actually work the business. So, again, it becomes a numbers game.

A certain percentage of people become prospects; a small percentage of those people sign up for your program; and only a few of those sign-ups become active in the business.

That just seems to be the way it goes.

You can improve the percentages by pre-qualifying your prospects so that only the best, most interested, most likely ones will drop into your funnel. Pre-qualifying people is one of the secrets to online network marketing success.

You pre-qualify them by making it clear in your ads, articles and promos what your opportunity is all about. If your material is misleading in an attempt to somehow trick them into clicking your link, they will figure that out quick enough once they land on your page and they will leave just as quickly.

If you are sending them to an affiliate sales page, that page will usually be designed to properly qualify their interest. If you are sending them to one of your own pages, spell out the opportunity clearly and give them enough information to decide if it is worth their while to click on through to the affiliate page.

Don’t make wild income claims, or unsupportable claims of how easy or how quick it will be to make money with the opportunity. You only want people interested in building a business, not people who expect to get rich without doing anything for themselves. Signing up tire kickers, whiners and lazy people does nothing to build your business and it can even become a negative thing, consuming your valuable time and draining your limited energy.

It is far better to find five people willing to focus on building a solid business than it is to sponsor fifty who need constant nagging. Years ago an offline network marketing coach told me that if you have to drag them in, you’ll have to drag them through. You don’t need that.

However, even if your goal is to find five focused business builders, it still becomes a numbers game because most people just do not have it in them to build a solid Internet business. That is why it is so important to be honest and direct with your marketing material and design it to pre-qualify your prospects as much as possible.

That is one of the secrets to online network marketing success.

Great article GT as always! Gaining your clients trust is truly the secret to success. Why would join someone you can't trust? Like you said, let them know what the business is and what is required of them in order to succeed. If they are sincere about owning a business or building an income, then they will join and if they stick with it, succeed! Thanks for sharing. God bless
