Negative calorie foods There slimmer?

I often hear and read about negative calorie foods , ie foods to digest used more calories than those containing the same . Some popular examples are the celery , the Brock holo , the asparagus and more.

The claim is that consuming many of these foods cause or facilitate weight reduction . The truth is that about one tenth of the energy needed for daily functioning of the body

used for digestion. Foods containing few calories require a relatively large amount of energy to be consumed in comparison to the amount of calories they contain.

But there are no relevant studies showing that certain foods because of this attribute their help in losing or maintaining weight.

Conversely, there are studies that indicate that consumption of fruits and vegetables, can help weight loss as part of a balanced diet.

Additionally, the exclusive intake of fruit and vegetables or food calorie generally, can result in rapid weight loss and the lack of significant nutrient intake and to a health risk ,

when it is not recommended . The secret of success for weight loss is gradual weight reduction program through a balanced diet that contains all the necessary nutrients and regular exercise
