Marketing Plan Outline-Writing Articles With Your Audience In Mind

In creating a marketing plan outline, I was putting pressure on myself to write as many articles as I could for my blog, article submissions, and web 2.0 communities. I have just caught myself forgetting the true reason for my articles!

That reason should be to help my audience get what they want. I mean how many famous quotes are there on, “what comes around goes around”?  I believe by forgetting that most important objective in article creation, all the fun will be lost.

I am a big believer that if your audience detects that all you are wanting is their money, they will move on without hesitation, and if it is the same presentation delivery everyone else is using, they will move on as well.

 How many times can a topic be discussed? Take “internet marketing tools” as a subject. We all know how necessary it is to build an e-mail list of prospective customers.

 That staying in touch with all of our subscribers with an automated system is the most important tool in an internet marketer’s tool box.

That having an autoresponder is like having a hired hand to organize your thank you letters, your newsletters and money making offers as well as, licking the envelopes and going to the post office for you.

I believe that if you start writing in a manner that your audience can’t relate with, your articles become boring blogs of information. How many times did you fall asleep while trying to study your textbooks in school?

Maybe writing with a little less frequency and having better quality to an article that has personality and enthusiasm would be better than pumping out the same old jargon that everyone else is publishing every minute.

I know that I personally will follow and trust an author that entertains while providing the information I’m looking for. That’s because their personality is shining through, and I grow to like them.

In creating a marketing plan outline it will be very important to remember that people buy what they want, and they buy what they need, but there is something to say about the emotional factor in our readers.

Who are you more apt to buy from?  The author that has something to sell with just the same old information that can be found anywhere on the internet, or an author that shows they care and has an enthusiastic solution!

It is a proven fact that people buy from people they like. How can you keep your reader’s attention and keep them coming back if they are bored to death?
