Marketing Is Not Selling
Marketing is not selling in my book, Marketing to me is establishing relationships with people in my niche, you have to identify your niche and hang out where people in your chosen niche hang out. For instance, my niche is assisting newbies and providing Marketing tools to business owners who need and want a better marketing solution so thats where I hang out. The marketing sites I hang out in are full of newbies looking for an affordable legit home business, a lot of online vets hang out at the marketing sites I frequent as well who know what they need as far as Marketing tools and are already spending money on what they need. The first thing I learned to do was to establish relationships with people and contribute to the sites to let people know I'm not just there to spam and sell.
Are you a regular contributer to the sites you belong to or are you just hammering your business to the members? If you are I can pretty much guarantee you that you're being ignored without even knowing it. My point is, STOP TRYING TO mARKET and build relationships first and whatever you do don't act like you're somebody's friend only to lower the sales pitch boom on them as soon as you get their defences down, they'll see your weak game a mile away and resent you forever for it and completely block you out of their minds. My Marketing technique involves letting people know why they should choose my service or product over someone else, that's what I do when choosing a product or service I want so why should I expect anything different from a prospect or customer? I finally stopped wasting precious time and energy trying to sell and market and found my niche, of course I learned this technique from Mike Dillards Magnetic Sponsoring a few years back and I still re-visit those manuals from time to time. If you need some assistance with your Marketing and need to talk to someone feel free to contact me because I always make myself available to help people. Again, I'm not the Guru by the sea and can only give you the benefit of my personal experiences
