The internal speakers are surprisingly decent, if that all you have is. They lack bass, but mid-range sound is quite full. We have a small 2.1 speaker system that we use, but I still felt not complete forced to close it while we get the review and routing.
The biggest problem I had with the TV stand was secured. Once I had that sorted out, the rest of the decor was a breeze.
I paid more money than the rate listed here is for, and I'm still thrilled with my purchase. That should say a lot.
I bought this one a few days ago for $ 600 + taxes. For some reason I thought and gave my wife there is something wrong with him, very good image quality, but a little dark for our tastes - in all fairness, we see many more channels in standard definition or digital.
So we bought a better, a Samsung 37'', 1080p, NC550 ... After all the reviews, it was supposed to be better, much better, it was a 1080p for God's sake!. And, as we soon found out, this was not a "dim" by any action!
I've calibrated the LG (do a search on Google) and tried to do the same thing with the Samsung, but I have no sites with the necessary calibration information. I tweaked the settings on the Samsung for hours on end. Observed after 6-8 hours, LG 37CS560 both TVs side by side, on a variety of channels (HD, digital and analog - I have not tried to hook up to my laptop, though not played any games on them), The decision was something simple. Incredibly, unexpectedly, the LG (37'' 760p) was significantly better than the Samsung (37'', 1080p, etc.). The picture was much clearer and warmer, more pleasing to the eyes, the faces on SD signals and digital is much clearer, more ... "Acceptable". On an HD signal alone, we could not see any significant difference at all (again, we liked both the LG but it was only a preference by now!). We both saw the same channel, the same signal cable at the same time ... I know it sounds unbelievable, but we both liked the LG more.
The price was not a problem, the Samsung was only $ 100 more (for fire smart USA). I was totally surprised: I thought that Samsung would blow us (it was Samsung, 1080p 5th generation after all!.), But it so turned out that the picture on the LG way was much better. My wife always told me: I like the LG anymore, but if you think Samsung is better, then it is up to you! It took me hours to finally give a "better" TV, Samsung (1080p) for the LG (720p), but I did. Now, when we watch TV (LG), we love it!
