Lavery Chevrolet is participating in the U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots program this holiday season.

“We invite the public and members of the Lavery Automotive Community to bring in new, unwrapped toys to the dealership from now until December 11th and we will deliver them to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for distribution to local children,” says Lindsay Lavery.

Toys For Tots is run nationwide by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, with the help of civic minded businesses and organizations, like Lavery Chevrolet.  The dealership is located at 1096 W. State Street Alliance, OH 44601 and drop-off of toys is available during normal business hours.

Toys For Tots' Mission:
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

The objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future.

Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.
