Keyword Research

You already have a popular target market. It seems to be a profitable one and identified with the concerns and problems of your interest, it's then time to do a little work on researching. That means looking for a list of search terms with a high search volume and not that much competition. Anyway you'll need some competition which is useful as a good indicator about your market's profitability, which at the same time means there are buyers willing to get your products. There is a place where to start, and that is Google. Yes, Google gives you a very useful tool. It's name is Google's Keyword Tool. Go here:

What you have to do is think of the kind of keywords people will look for when looking for the product you offer. What words specifically have some relation with the problems and solutions in that niche. If you are making a blog on 'raw food diets' you would probably type things like: - raw food weight loss diet -raw food diet plan -lose weight raw food - raw food cleanse - raw food diet - raw food benefits. Next, enter these into Google's Keyword Tool.

From the results you can see how popular this niche is. You don't have to worry that much about competition, as you have now narrowed from a main niche to a sub-niche.

Later on you will need to incorporate the best keywords into the titles and also the content of your blog posts in order to benefit from SEO. So, take care of those which have high search terms and are also relevant.
