How would you like to improve the marketing strategy for your home based affiliate business? The best thing you can do to improve your business and your home business opportunities is to value your customers.
Unfortunately, many marketers see their customers as “marks.” So what if they buy your snake oil and complain about it? There are millions more fish in the sea.
However, if you want to improve your Internet marketing strategy, you need to refocus your priorities.
A customer relationship is a valuable thing. There are two parts to this: first, it is much more challenging to get a new customer than it is to keep an existing one; second, once you have sold a product to a satisfied customer, they are much more likely to come back for more.
That’s why it is so important to develop and maintain a customer mailing list. Once you have established value with a customer, you are able to go back to them with new product offers. Customers buy from sellers they trust.
This is true whether you are selling home based affiliate business products or your own products. If you are selling affiliate products, and people trust your recommendations, they will buy through your suggested product links.

If you are selling your own products, this remains true as well. If you sell a customer an initial product and he or she likes it, they will probably be interested in other products you have to sell as well.
Get them into your product funnel. You should plan up sells and down sells for everything you sell. Look at ways to repackage the products to add value. For instance, you can turn an eBook into an audio book and sell it again. Or, you can turn a collection of short reports into one package.
If you value your customers, you will work to improve your home based affiliate business marketing strategy all around. And that means thinking of your prospects as more than just marks.

If you view the people on your list and who visit your website as valuable customers, you will develop relationships that will last for many years. If you treat them as marks, they may buy once, but they will be unwilling to ever purchase something from you again.
Furthermore, when you treat people as marks, it casts a shadow upon the whole online buying experience in general and drives people to seek other sources and suppliers.
Be smart enough to avoid that trap. Respect and treat your customers as valuable, because they are.
That’s the best way to improve your home based affiliate business marketing strategy. Because after all, every marketer has products or opportunities to promote and they want to be the best they can be.
