If you’re trying to build a successful online business you need to stay productive and get things done. Taking massive action is the only way to success – and whilst it sounds easy the reality can be very different.
Here’s how to do more and waste less time:
First of all you need to plan out your day. How much time do you have and what do you need to do during the time you have to devote to it?
Write everything down and create your ‘to do’ list, then number them in order of priority. A good tip is to get your most difficult things done first because it gets them out of the way and frees your mind knowing the thing you were dreading is now complete.
It’s important to be realistic and plan what you can actually achieve. Break down your longer projects into small tasks – for example if you’re writing an eBook it might be to finish 2 pages or 10 pages.
Once you have planned you’ll need to actually take action! Work in short bursts of (say) 10 minutes at a time, followed by a 5 minute rest. You’ll achieve more doing it this way – it’s what teachers advise their students to do when they are studying.
Learning how to do more in less time is also about finding your ideal working environment. Some people prefer to work casually with the TV or music on in the background, whilst others work better in silence and in a room without any distractions. Find out what works best for you – it can have a huge impact on your productivity levels.
