How Do You Do It?
Since diving into Internet Marketing about 4 years ago, the slew of offers in the business has exploded. One phenomenon that has been prevalent is how many articles are written on the subject. Incredibly, many of the articles are rehashes on the same theme: Build Your List. And what is truly incredible is the names of each of these "programs" is changing so rapidly the mind gets confused. How do they come up with so many different names for the same programs? And how soon will the titles become outrageous?
I guess article writng will become like websites - so saturated that the names become letters and numbers rather than recognizable phrases. So, how do you do it? How do you wade through so many FR*EE offerings and find the truly one that is a good fit?
The first step is to STOP! Stop chasing the "Latest & Greatest" program and get back to basics - develop a relationship with your audience. In Internet Marketing there truly is no magic bullet (despite how many times the name has been offered). And to be sure this holds true in Network Marketing as well. Shortcuts don't work; lazy methods don't work; only time and perserverance will triumph over poverty.
The next step is to work with someone who is not only making money but who is not singularly focused on finding the next "new thing" to promote or person recruit into their business. This person will be a true mentor to you as you travesrse trough the morass of marketing your business. A mentor will help you stay focused on the current task at hand and not drift off into a cyber wasteland of "stuff" awaiting you on the Internet today. A mentor will consistently reinforce what approach works and what doesn't. And a mentor will already have a system in place that has proven results, so you don't have to "reinvent the wheel".
And lastly, follow the system. The (not-so) old phrase "wash, rinse, repeat" is so appropriate and true. It is essential that you repeat what was successful (regardless of your personality) to gain the greatest rewards.
