Headlines That Sell, Part 2

Persuading prospects to become buyers can be a big challenge for online marketers. In part one, I referred to copywriting as the “art of persuasion” and highlighted some key elements of a good headline. Here, in Headlines That Sell, Part 2, I will give you a sampling of headline templates you can adapt and use instantly.

Internet Marketing is all about promoting and selling products and services online. The better you become at creating good, solid advertising copy and other promotional content, the more home business income you will generate.

The “fill-in-the-blanks” headline templates provided here are from the eBook, Headlines That Sell, a comprehensive and enlightening resource that I recommend for anybody involved in Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and any form of home business.

While the eBook lists dozens of templates in several categories, I will list only a few from each category to give you an idea and hopefully provide some inspiration. – Learn How to Triple the Amount of Traffic That Comes to Your Site in Just [# of days] Days.

Trigger Word Style Headlines

– Seven Explosive Secrets that are Guaranteed to [Product’s Promise].

– Sick of Paying Outrageous Amounts for [Niche Product]? Download Your Copy for Free.

– Warning: If You Think Your Business Practices Are ‘Good Enough,’ You Might be in For an Unpleasant Surprise.

Conclusion

Of course, there’s more that goes into Internet Marketing than only the copywriting, but the sooner you can apply the art of effective persuasion to your content, and especially to your headlines, the sooner you can move your online business into a much more profitable position.

Hello, Judy: Thanks for the comment. Yes, there are many alternative writing styles and methods. The important thing is that we practice and test different styles until we find what we are comfortable with and most importantly, what works best for us. GT :-)

Hello from Montana, This is great information. I tend to write way too long of headlines. However, I also tend to read long headlines. We are think we know the best way, but really there are so many different ways to appeal to different personalities. jhw
