Grow an Oak Tree Overnight!

Oct 27th 2010 at 10:35 PM

Nope, it doesn't work that way, but its what many marketers promote and promise.

Folks, the truth of the matter is that to get an oak tree from an acorn takes years. As in the natural, so in the spiritual, and more so here on the Net.

I have been doing online marketing for over 10 years. I have invested tens of thousands of hours and thousands of dollars to grow my Oak Trees. And guess what I am now seeing results. All the ground work is paying off.

So the three secrets to web success are:

1. Hard work

2. Time

3. Self belief and endurance

Work towards sustainability over the long term and stop chasing all the get rich quick schemes. All they do is dissipate your efforts for no end gain.

I know its an unpopular message but online business success ihas the same prerequisites as regularĀ  business success, it's all about hard work and persistence. Don't give up just water the acorn. And when the daily payments start rolling in you will be very pleased.

I agree with flconversation. Its like all of those people who try dieting by taking pills or signing up for crash diets, when the only thing you need to do is record your calories and exercise. You may intitally see results with the other methods but they have no sustainability.

To me this message is not unpopular - it's the truth. And we cannot repeat it often enough. Showing pictures of abundance are good for our motivation on the way towards success, especially in the beginning. It reminds to nourish our acorns otherwise they will dry up.

Patience is definitely a necessity in developing success. Since most self-published authors have no 'brand name recognition', we have to do the real work of marketing; as such, it takes an average of five years of dedicated effort - even though we have the present advantage of the Internet.
