Going That Mile

Aug 14th 2010 at 11:17 PM

When one 'Goes that Mile', One knows how that person feels. And it usually feels like sore feet, and toes, and backaches. But when that 'mile', turns out to be easy to do because one has a follower that 'Sees You',  then that mile is always easy to do.

I don't want to get too philisophical on this subject, but Mr Roosevelt had the right idea when it comes to Im Faceplate. (Thank you, by the way - when one crack in the wall develops, another comes along, then another, and after a time, a flood comes down the stream to run over you. Without you being the first crack in my wall - follower - I wouldn't keep doing this. I need all the help I can get.) In his article, 'I See you' ( wonderful movie, one of my favorites) the natives used the phrase 'I See you' to refer to not only seeing someone in the physical sense, but seeing them as a whole. 'Who', they really are. The complete picture. And if one remembers that movie, it takes time to reach such an understanding. 3 months in the film. But in reality, doesn't something of that nature really take longer? Each individual moves at a different pace from others. One may take 3 months; others may take 3 years. But all had someone to show them the way. IM Faceplate, is that someone. The followers, doing the following. Being shown the way. But it's not just the followers learning the way. But the SOMEBODY'S learning that the followers can be taught. But I can honestly tell you, I don't want to be known for my website, or my income, or my strategies I take away from this experience. I want to be known for who I am. A compassonate, thoughtful, loving, caring, indiviual who just so happens can be 'taught - to - lead.' I want to have someone say to me, "I See You."
