Exercise can be the best guard against any type of cancer in the body. One must do regular exercise, not only to reduce weight as a near term solution, but should also appreciate its long term benefits of reducing risk of cancer. Time and again, medical sciences have proved that cancer is caused primarily by lifestyle and genes play only a minor role. Sedentary lifestyle with irregular or no activities is the primary cause of one third of cancer related deaths.

Swimming helps in toning one’s core to speeding up one’s metabolism and it can be done all year long. One does not need a bag full of dollars for swimming. Just buy a swimming consume and hit the neighbourhood pool, any time of the year.

Dancing

Dancing is an enjoyable way to be more physically active and stay fit. If one thinks that dancing is a drag then one can dance in a group, with a partner.

Avoid the Elevator

Small changes in one’s daily lifestyle can go a long way. Skip the elevator and climb up the stairs. This would burn lot of calories, in addition to keep arthritis away.
