Email Marketing Tips - How To Instantly Get More Subscribers
Aug 28th 2010 at 3:53 PM
If you are building a list and you are selling products on your website you may have missed an easy way to instantly get more subscribers without having to generate any extra traffic or buy any advertising and you can implement this strategy immediately with little effort.
Like most website owners you are probably selling multiple products which you have either created or have purchased resale rights for and you may also have multiple domains which you are sending traffic to. If you are in this position you already have a substantial amount of virtual real estate which you can use to get more subscribers.
When people visit a sales letter they expect to read some text and they are interested to know if what you are offering can help them solve a specific problem. This is the perfect opportunity to offer them a free email course while they are still deciding whether or not to buy your product.
If you have your main ezine which is the central part of your internet business it may not be directly related to everything you are selling on your website. For any products that are related you can strategically place your subscription form within the sales letter where its most appropriate.
So if you have an ezine about affiliate marketing and your are selling a product about how to use pay per click advertising to sell products as an affiliate you can place a subscription form in the sales letter. Most sales letters start off with an introduction that explains what the problem is that the product is going to solve and below this is the perfect place to put your subscription form (if your ezine is related).
The great thing about this strategy is that you can use the redirect feature of your subscription form to instantly send people back to the sales letter after they have joined your list. This ensures that anyone who was thinking of buying the product will still be able to do so.
Another feature of the subscription form which you can use is the tracking name which will help you identify where each subscriber came from. All you have to do is use a word that is related to the product where your subscription form is located (use a different word for each sales letter so you can track how successful each one is).
If you have many different products which are not related to your ezine you can start a new list by creating a report or email course which is directly related to the product. You can also use this list to follow up with prospects who have not purchased the product yet and encourage them to order.
You should also include your subscription form on other pages of your website especially if they are already generating significant amounts of traffic. So if you publish a blog you should insert a smaller version of your subscription form into the sidebar at the top and keep posting fresh content on a regular basis to generate more traffic.
In order to build your list as quickly as possible you need to use all of your virtual real estate by including your subscription form on as many pages as possible. This will ensure that your ezine gets maximum exposure by utilising all of your available traffic.
