Hard sale tactics just don't work anymore, most people consider it intrusive and annoying and so do I. Makes you wonder why some businesses and people are still using it. Today the best thing you can do is to teach people about your product or service, you not only have to teach them you have to educate them to assist them in making an educated decision. What's the benefit of buying from me and not the other guy?

Manipulating people's emotions for a sale is no longer necessary or needed,I see it more and more in online marketing and its kind of pathetic if you ask me. Blogging has become very instrumental in this process, you have to also make sure you're talking to your target market. In other words, don't try to sell a steak to a vegetarian.Its also very important to make sure you're using the correct keywords. Google's free keyword tool is pretty good.

Even though you're teaching people, you still have to make sure you use a conversational tone instead of a canned conversation. Remember to always make a call to action statement, If you don't ask people to do something guess what? They won't. This technique helps you build a stronger relationship and makes you an authority in your field, it means you're doing your homework as well. There's no need to press someone to the concrete to make a sale anymore.
