Cheers' in Byron!

A tavern in Byron with delicious food at good prices.

This item: Hidden in a neighborhood of Byron, with gardens in low houses around, just a few blocks from the back side of the beautiful park Kessariani. You will not find it without the help of the map!

The atmosphere: Classic, family tavern decorated tastefully and with sour street to "jump" into the shop because the plastic curtains of the courtyard cut the air but not the image. The quietness, the looseness, the light and the color green seems to be the ingredients that help good appetite.

The food: Honest, homemade food from chef two brothers joined forces in their own business. We tried the salad "cheers", a "tweaked" tomato salad with nuts, feta cheese and balsamic sauce, oil, mustard and an idea. Extremely Cretan kaltsounia, both mixed with herbs and cheese, and those with cheese, sesame and honey, while tyrokafteri did most noticeable aspect of the homely kitchen. From the truly impressed us most burgers chicken, pork chops and fried with chicken. Do not forget the fries are hand cut and fried thick so as not to have kept any oil.

Account: We manage to get to 20 per person with drink, but with a more subdued mood, the 15 euros is a sensible eating, always drink.

The cellar: Kalopioti raki and without leaving scars the next day. The same kalopiotos and bulk Marouvas from Crete.
