Brand You First Online!

Aug 24th 2010 at 8:27 AM

Most of the extremely successful online marketers will tell you to Brand You first.

Because many of these same marketers have changed businesses and opportunites several times over their time on the Internet and what has ensured their financial survival and longevity is the fact that they have Branded themselves first, made a name, a reputation, if you will for themselves, so that their customers and clients will follow them into the next business.

I have just finished reading a very enlightening and informative book called " Why Johnny can't Brand" by Bill Schley & Carl Nichols, Jr.

In the book these authors talk of "the Big Idea" and how it should be used to Brand your business from day one.

It also states that you can Brand anything, a product,  a service, an animal, a politician, a nation, a celebrity, a religion, a holiday, a movie or yourself!

Online the "Big Idea"  should always be you about Branding you first!

What do you stand for as you interact with others online?

Ultimately, branding yourself should be easier than trying to Brand a business, because all of us humans are unique and have something different to offer.

However, the first step in branding yourself online is to build a relationship with your potential customers or clients.

People do business with those that they know ,like and trust!

Be willing to give before you try to get!

The most sought after commodity online is information. Billions people come online for high quality, useful and usable information everyday.

Make sure you provide your subscribers with consistently high quality and reliable content on your blog, website and articles

They will then begin to know, like and trust you and when you finally offer them something they want or need.

Voila! They will confidently and consistently buy from you and tell others too!
