BankonTraffic Review

Feb 26th 2013 at 4:12 PM

This is my BankonTraffic (BOT) program review.  First I need to tell you that this is a new program that has only just launched on February 20th, 2013.  Their BankonTraffic (BOT) website shows their company address at 9630 Bruceville Road; Suite 106, Unit 316; Elk Grove, CA.

The website is hosted on servers in Novato, CA and shows the registrar as Enom, Inc.  With the website creation date of February 22th, 2012 and expiration date of February 22, 2014 (one year from now).  The website owner is shown as Whois Privacy Protection service (WPPS); in Bellevue, WA (in other words the website owner has decided to keep their "true" contact information unlisted).  But I have found out that ATMI is the owner and operator of the BankonTraffic (BOT) website technical infrastructure, with Harry Harmon the Project Manager and James Scott the Business Development Manager.  But I do not know if these people work for ATMI or BOT.

BankonTraffic (BOT)  website stated that it is based on the BannersBroker (BB) income model and it seems that Bank on Traffic's goal is to create an almost identical payment model as BB.   You can see the BankonTraffic vs BannersBroker comparison chart HERE.

How Does BankonTraffic (BOT) Work? First you have to buy a "Starter Business Package". After which you receive "Unique Visitors Web Traffic" to use to promote your own website program (if you have one).  You will also receive enough additional traffic credits that will return double your original cost of  your "Business Package", after they are sold.  For example, a $50 package, should make you $100 after all its traffic credits are sold.  Then you can choose whether you want to buy additional "Business Packages" with either all your earning or just one "Business Package" with half your earnings.

There are 5 different "Stater Business Packages" - $65,  $215, $665, $2015,  and $6065.  Five different "Business Packages"- Starter: $50, Basic: $150, Pro: $450, Expert: $1,350, or Elite: $4,050.  Also there are 3 different monthly membership categories - Standard: $15, Gold: $50, and Platinum: $100.

All deposits and withdraws are by either Payza, SolidTrustPay, or Bankwire.  The website states that BOT will pay withdraws posted by midnight EST Saturday, on the following Wednesday.  The site states that you can earn without ever signing up others, but I cannot find anything on what you get if you do sign up direct referrals (I can only assume that it is like BB and you receive additional traffic).

My Opinion..... As you know BankonTraffic is a new program which was only launched a few days ago,  but I have found some RED flags about the program, particularly with the company itself.  Why are they continuing to hide the true program ownership?  The only person that anybody seems to know, is a person named "Scott" (I must assume that this is the same James Scott, Business Development Manager listed above) and that’s it.  This (?James?) Scott person claims that there are 6 other people in administration, but will not give out any names, very scary.

Second, the website states that "NO 1099 will be issued to US affiliates", that you are operating as a Business Owner and will be responsible for our own taxes. This is true, you are responsible for your own taxes, but EVERY USA COMPANY is required to report to the IRS, by sending in 1099's, detailing any earnings that have been paid out to any US affiliate, period.  And BankonTraffic is listed as a Elk Grove, CA business.  Even BannersBroker sends out 1099's to US affiliates and they are not even a US company. Third, if the programs owners are planning on being around for a long time, why is the URL set to expire in less than one year? Fourth, if BankonTraffic are not sending out 1099's and are only using standard payment processors, then why do they need your personal id information (like drivers license, SS#, etc.)? Again very scary as this information is not needed to transfer money to and from standard payment processors. Finally how often  have you ever known a copy-cat program to work as good as the original?  Example, has Bidify or any of the many other penny auction income programs, ever reach the level of ZeekRewards? NO... Is Walmarts Diet Cola as good as Diet Coke or Pepsi? NO... So what makes you believe that BankonTraffic will be better or even as good as BannersBroker?

Therefore I cannot recommend to any of you to put money in this program!!  As this program can be a big commitment in money and I feel you should wait and see if they will actually pay out or are even around in  six months.  Like I always say "If a passive program is as great as they state it is during launch, then it should still be a great program six months after it has launched". Of course if I found anything that changes my opinion about BankonTraffic, I will update you.

Just My Opinion,
Philip Reitcheck
