This tour will take you to the quintessential destinations from the North to the South of  Vietnam budget tour package. Within 15 days, this trip will awaken all our senses by exploring the authentic Vietnam.  This trip covers most of the vibrant Hanoi, Halong bay, Hue, Hoi An, and Da Nang.


2-week package starts in Hanoi and ends in Da Nang

Visit Noi Bai Airport – Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Sapa – Halong Bay – Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An

Day 1: Noi Bai Arrival – Pick up (D)

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meeting with your guide and transfer to the hotel. Free time on your own activities.

Wecome dinner before taking the night train to Sapa. Overnight on train (soft sleeper A/C cabin of 4 people).

Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa (B, L)

Picked up at Lao Cai Railway Station by car for Bac Ha market. The beginning of the day on which you visit a big market filled with many different hill-tribe peoples. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy Bac Ha people’s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide’s interpretation.

Leave the market for the H’Mong King’s house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920.

Return the town for lunch. In the afternoon, spend time visiting another village (Ban Pho village) Say good bye to Bac Ha and get back to Sapa. On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbor Mouth in Lao Cai. Reach Sapa late in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa  - Su Pan – Ban Ho (B, L)

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning transfer by car to Su Pan village then trekking to Ban Ho village to visit the Tay ethnic people who have houses on stilts. Lunch at a local family.

Back to Sapa in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa  - Coc Ly – Lao Cai (B, L)

Leave from Sapa early at 07.00 am for Coc Ly market which is situated far from Sapa. Enjoy the peaceful life of 6 different minority peoples (Flower H’Mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay, Ha Nhi and Nung). The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another’s experience.

Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay River. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high rock mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. The Fairy Cave is located deeply in the rocks. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority (Trung Do village) by the river. After the boat trip, visit a small town – Bao Nhai and then take jeep back to Lao Cai Station for the night train to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – City tour half day (B, D)

Pick up at railway station and transfer back to your hotel for check in.

08.00 In the morning, tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel and transfer to visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and Tran Quoc Pagoda,.

12.00 Lunch in local restaurant. Visit Vietnam museum of ethnology then continue visiting Hoan Kiem Lake - Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy a cyclo ride around Hanoi Old Quarters at the end of the day. After dinner, enjoy a water puppet show in the evening.

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

08.00 Pick up and trasnfer to Halong bay.

12.00 Welcome on board with welcome drink then check in your cabin. Enjoy first class lunch while you are cruising through thousand amazing islands and islet passing by Stone Dog Islet, Floating fishing Village, Incense Burner Islet, Fighting Cocks Islet…

Visit Sung Sot cave (the most beautiful one in Halong bay) then enjoy an hour or more kayaking through slide rock cliffs before swimming and joining some activities for fun  on white sandy beach (weather permitted). Back to the cruise, take shower and relax on upper deck bar before joining a specially prepared seafood buffet in a romantic atmosphere.

Evening activities – enjoy movie night, board games, and squid fishing or relax at leisure. Overnight on board.

Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

Wake up in the morning, cakes, fruits, tea and coffee will be served. Continue the cruise through Halong bay. Spend your time on capturing beautiful photo shoots of the bay.

Enjoy the lunch after you pack your things and leave the cabin. The cruise sails back to the harbor.

At noon, disembark and take a van back to Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi – Kenh Ga – Phat Diem (B, L)

08.00 Pick up and transfer to Ninh Binh (91km). Upon arrival, visit Kenh Ga Hotspring with its limestone mountains. Take a boat trip on the Hoang Long River as it winds through verdant rice fields and Karsts Limestone Mountain to see Kenh Ga floating village.

After lunch, visit Phat Diem Cathedral, is the Center of Catholicism in North Vietnam and also an attractive tourist site. Explore numerous stone sculptures which are on the inside and outside walls with a large bell cast nearly 2 tons, four roof and 6 sets of iron wooden pillars and then return to Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi – Duong Lam ancient village – Hue (B, L)

Pick up at 08.00 am and travel west of Hanoi to Duong Lam village, a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where still preserve many hundred-year-old houses.

Upon arrival, visit Mong Phu communal house in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Continue going around the village to discover the daily life and farming working of Vietnamese peasants along the terrace with a stop in two ancient houses: the biggest ancient house was build 200 years ago and the most ancient house back to 400 years ago.

Afternoon visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. Other stop is Mia Pagoda (other hamlet in Duong Lam village), is built in 15th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, along with are famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Viagra Deities.

Drive back to Hanoi and drop you off at the station for the night train to Hue. Overnight on train. (A flight can be arranged in the morning next day).

Day 10: Hue (B, L)

Morning arrival in Hue, pick up and transfer to your hotel in Hue.

After that, tour guide will tale you on a boat trip to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Tu Duc and King's tombs (Khai Dinh).

Visit Imperial Citadel in the afternoon. The tour ends by shopping at Dong Ba Market. Free time for your own diner.

Day 11: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

Transfer to Hoi An via Da Nang.

Spend time in Lang Co beach en-route, taking photograph from Hai Van Pass (The pass of Sea and Cloud) and visiting Cham Museum in Da Nang.

Upon arrival in Hoi An, check in hotel and free time.

Day 12: Hoi An walking tour (B, L)

After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour to visit Hoi An ancient town with Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung house and cultural show rooms in Hoi An.

After your walking tour, if you have free time ,you can do shopping at the old town. Guide will take you back to the hotel. Free time at on your own activities.

Day 13: Hoi An – Tra Que vegetable village (B, L)

Tra Que - a little charming village lies on the edge of Hoi An, It is named after the sweetly scented vegetable. These vegetables not only make the Pho Hoi’s meals more sweet with different flavor but also make Hoi An’ specialties such as Cao Lau, Quang Noodle more memorable.

If you come here to the village , you can also enjoy the cooking class conducted by the host with local “Tam Huu” spring roll which is primarily made from Tra Que vegetables or pancake with meat (Banh xeo) which is made with the enlivenment.

Experience one day living and working with the local people at the Tra Que vegetable village where you will have a chance to discover the daily life of farmers.

Back to the town in the afternoon and free time. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 14: Hoi An free time (B)

Free time at your leisure. You can take a boat trip to visit Kim Bong Carpenter Village and Thanh Ha Pottery Village or relaxing on Cua Dai beach.

Day 15: Hoi An – My Son – Da Nang Departure (B)

Morning to visit the ancient Cham ruins of My Son. Once there, visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the former administration center of Champa Kingdom. Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My Son including ancient towers which were built from the fourth century. Continue drive to Da Nang for your flight back home. End of services. Notes:
