Are You Worth Your Salt?

Feb 7th 2011 at 3:35 PM

Words are facinating things in that they are our primary conveyance of meaning and often help us more accurately express our emotions too.

Because words are so helpful it is sometimes fun to know more about how they came into Roman Soldierour vocabulary.  A fun example is the etymology of the word salary; it is Latin and is the combination of sal (salt) and arium.  The word soldier is derived from the Latin, sal dere, meaning “to give salt”.

While many of the companies and programs we are affilliated do not provide traditional salaries to those promoting their goods and services, yet you can be be assured that you will need to be "worth your salt" over any period of time in order to receive very much compensation for your efforts.  The better we are at the fundamentals of representing our program(s), the better we are paid.  It certainly helps to be enthusiastic about what we do.

This is why I have actually teamed up with MPB Today ... what better way to be worth your salt than to help others to get theirs while reducing or even eliminating the out-of-pocket cost for it?!

Watch this great overview video of the program:  http://GasAndFoodVideo.com

As you view it ask yourself if you are more interested in the savings, the earnings ... or BOTH.  Then ask yourself if you are excited to be able to share the benefits of this program with a few others.

To OUR success,
