Are You Action Oriented?

Mar 4th 2011 at 5:45 PM

Here is why I ask, we all see amazing amounts of information on a daily basis.  Is it overload?  Are is now so overwhelmed that when the better idea or way of doing something comes along that we miss it?

Maybe we don't really know what we should be looking for.  Or don't even know we should be looking!

The classic story that unfolds in Acres of Diamonds as told by Russell Conwell talks about a time when people where motivated to sell what they had and "pull up stakes" in order to seek after something of value ... Napolean Hill spent twenty years uncovering the common elements of what super achievers shared in common in his classic, Think And Grow Rich.  And one of my personal favorites, The Common Denominator Of Success presented by Mr. Albert E. N. Gray manages to capture the essence of a sense of purpose into a very concise speech presented back in 1940.

Even though those writers hail from an earlier era they shared great insights and wisdom with us and we are forever beholden to them.  So, should we slow down the treadmill of our lives enough to make sure we have learned the lessons that we should have?  While this may sound counterintuitive, we have too often become desensitized to the offers and opportunities that come our way.  The glazed over mind may not recognize that "diamond in the rough" that is there in plain view!

Major market trends can create great wealth for those that both recognize them AND act on them ... are you clearly seeing the developing trends and positioning yourself to benefit from them?

Much success to you!
