All about Wealth Health and Happiness -2

While I was compiling all the information to present in simple to follow format, I got distracted and lost the momentum of what I had started to do and promised to deliver.

THIS exactly is the problem that I see with others too. The difference is, I recognise the tumbling block. The difference has happened after I learnt what I learnt and the same I will be sharing with you.

First, primary requirement to succeed in life, to tap in to abundance of Wealth, Health and Happiness, is focus.

Ok let me take a step back before we launch in to the process.

There are parallel things that happen when you set step on to the path of success. It will get too complicated if I were to discuss them here in the beginning. I will reveal them as and when the reference arises. Trust me on simply follow the flow and see where it leads. All the pieces will fall in place to reveal that beautiful picture of Wealth Health and Abundance.

Just for example, the parallel things I mentioned would be process, mindset, attitude, reading, daily practise etc. It all happens at its own pace and requirement.

So back to today's episode.

Honestly there is tonnes of material written on 'focus'. Need to stay focused, importance of focus in life, why we should be focused and all that. A few attempts at how to stay focused has also been made. This is where it gets tricky. Yes 'tricky'. Who said what I am going to share with you is going to be a push button fix it all solution. There is no such thing. There is no sit back and get rich answer. Effort, labour and involvement is a must. So lets get focused.

For a moment, just sit back observe the thoughts in your mind. You will see your mind going all over the place, as if someone clicked on a link of the web page that opened up hundreds of web pages. On that note why not take that example itself. When you are surfing the net, for something, how quickly do you accomplish what you have set out for? How often do you get 'lost' in following some interesting links. 'That looks interesting' click, 'what is this' click, 'let me read more' click, 'what does this mean' click, 'looks like good offer' click and before you know you have gone miles away from where you were. Same thing happens within or mind, a bit far more quickly and with far too many links chased. This is what I call as lack of focus.

'Missing the objective' is also another way of understanding lack of focus. What is it that we want. We lose track of it. Very easily. This is what contributes fundamentally towards success or failure of whatever we are attempting to in our lives. All other factors just add on and speed up the process towards the outcome. If you have lost the focus, of course it will lead to complete failure of the mission, adding more frustration, which will result further demoralising and lack of confidence. This all builds to form more fuel for wavering mind. Effectively ending up ourselves in a mess.

Now I know you must be thinking, 'yeah you smart guy, we all know that so what's new? How do you stay focused?'

Honestly, I don't know how to stay focused. I would become the richest man if I knew the trick to achieving that state of mind. Still don't despair, there are tools and methods available. It is matter of finding which one works best for you. As everyone of us is different so would the solution to stay focused would differ.

Here is what works for me. First of all, I set aside time for mind to go around on wild goose chase. During this time, I could be day dreaming, pondering over something, maybe article that I read or mysteries about life. Just letting my mind go wherever it wants to. No obstruction. It does not have to be at a specific time. It can be any time.

I write my objective, on those yellow post it notes. Use which ever colour you like. I use a bit bigger size of the note. Objectives are written in a clear simple, order like statements. More like commands. 'Do ….'. For example, 'Finish reading Law of success' / 'Call Tom' / 'Visit Faceplate' / 'Attend emails' … so on so forth. Commands, orders to yourself. Exact, specific, as much as I can. Then I stick them up on my desk. Right on the monitor. Another goes on fridge, one more on the mirror in the toilet and one on the white board facing my bed. This white board has many purposes, which I will discuss later on when it comes to that point in the process I am sharing with you. One of my student, took it further. She also puts a end time with the commands. She adds a date on top of the note, to start with, and her commands are 'Finish laundry before noon' or 'Get groceries tomorrow evening' or 'Remember to email reply to Jane tonight'

Now put the two process in perspective. They are not one after the other. They are those 'parallel' things I mentioned earlier. When you have allowed your mind to wander, it will effectively stay more stable, rest of the time. During these stable times, the notes, shouting in your face, will be constant reminders to get job done. Another suggestion from one more student, which I have incorporated is treating myself when the job is done. It can be anything. Anything small that excites you. Maybe piece of that cheese cake you love so much. A glass of red wine you adore or simply standing in front of mirror and complementing yourself.

As I said, I will share what worked for me. I suggest you give it a try. See if it works for you. Else as mentioned earlier, find something that works for you. There are many tools available. There are many tips/tricks shared by people.

Applause and criticism are always welcome. It helps me refine my thought and contributes towards giving a finishing to my work that I am doing on Wealth Health and Happiness.

Do share, if you like this. Thank you for reading and following my articles.

Let's sum it up what works for you are your personal affirmations - created by yourself and realized in a for you functionable manor. This is fine when you have just found your way on how to promote a) yourself and b) the product/service of yourself. Reading this an old proverb comes into my mind: If two do the same thing, it is by no means the same.
