Who needs MTV’s “Pimp my Ride” when you can get the 2011 Ford Explorer from Capital Ford, your Regina Ford Dealer?!  The new, modern looking 2011 Explorer is currently one of the hottest Crossover SUV’s in the auto industry!  The Explorer has no fear and can drive through any type of road condition because of its strong, athletic stance and extreme power.  The Explorer is available in almost every colour you could imagine!

The Explorer’s abundant towing capability allows it to tow up to 5,000 lbs when properly equipped, including a boat, camper or trailer. The extreme power comes from its V6 engine that delivers a projected 290 horsepower and 255lb-ft. of torque.  The Hill Start Assist features keeps you safe at all times by ensuring you won’t creep backward when you take your foot off the brake pedal.  Also, the rear view camera provided by the MyFord Touch system displays a video image of the area behind your vehicle and helps guide you to align your vehicle with the trailer. Not to mention the Explorer’s fuel efficient gas mileage is one that you can’t beat.

So after all this talk about the exterior and power, I bet you’re wondering what the Explorer provides on the inside?  Well, the 2011 Ford Explorer can accommodate up to 7explorer-interior passengers with its three rows capable option.  The second row features a 60/40 split while the third row provides a 50/50 split all with the touch of a button available from the PowerFold feature allowing a flat fold for additional cargo room.  You thought that was cool?  Well the Explorer’s Luxury model provides perforated, leather-trimmed, heated and cooled front bucket seats that deliver four-season comfort for you and your passenger as well as a memory feature available for up to two drivers.  The standard Sony audio sound system lets you crank up the tunes with its surround sound technology of 390 watts of power and 12 high quality speakers, including a rear subwoofer..need I say more?!  Also, the available dual headrest DVD players are great to keep the kids occupied while you are driving on those long road trips.

Now, the technology on this thing is a whole different subject.  The MyFord Touch feature completely changes the way you interact with your vehicle.  You can access your music, temperature, rearview camera, phone contacts, navigation system and much more through simple voice commands allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. This innovative, easy-to-use system gives you complete control of your vehicle every time you enter it.

Most importantly the 2011 Ford Explorer has outstanding safety features available.  It has the industry’s first inflatable rear safety belts to help hold your rear passenger’s body in the appropriate seating position while reducing pressure on their chest and controlling head and neck motion. The 2011 Explorer offers Ford’s first industry-exclusive Curve Control system that actually has the ability to help slow the vehicle down if it senses that you’re going too fast for a particular curve.  Also, the BLIS with Cross Traffic Alert uses sensors to monitor when you have a vehicle in your blindspot, warning you that another vehicle is coming from either side of you indicating that you wait to merge lanes until the vehicle has passed.  Standard ABS brakes and AdvanceTrac with roll stability control helps you maintain control whenever it detects wheel slip, understeer, oversteer or roll motion especially in poor road conditions such as ice, gravel or rain.

This fully loaded, top of the line SUV is available now at Capital Ford, your Regina Ford Dealer.  Once you switch over to the Explorer, you will never go back to any other vehicle because nothing compares to it in its class!  Come on down to Capital Ford to test drive a 2011 Ford Explorer today!

I've been driving my new Limited for just over a week in southwest Sask. and it is an incredible vehicle. Nothing but praise for the comfort, ride and sure-footedness of this machine. Very quiet at highway speeds. Absolutely no tire spinning when starting out in ice or snow. Voice recognition is better than I expected and the controls and options are amazing. It still has a lot of features I haven't learned or discovered yet but it already does more than anything I have driven in the past. I HIGHLY recommend this vehicle!
