Chris Hemsworth has revealed his noticeable weight loss on the set of upcoming Ron Howard movie In the Heart of the Sea, Digital Spy reported  The article, “Chris Hemsworth weight loss revealed on set of new Ron Howard film,” noted that the actor, who usually has to bulk up considerably for his role as Thor, wore a blue vest, which revealed his significantly slighter torso, as he posed on the deck of a ship in the photograph. Yourwellness Magazine explained that the myth that weights add bulk has been thrown around for years, but there is little truth to it – gaining muscle is hard work and takes a long time to achieve. Yourwellness Magazine pointed out that in the early stages of a new workout, the body produces a hormone known as cortisol which leads exercisers to retain water. People think this is muscle and believe that they are bulking up, but they’re actually just adapting to a new regime. Yourwellness Magazine added that cardio exercise, contrary to popular belief, does build muscle, which aids in weight loss.
