PCMark 7 scores: second DurchlaufPCMark 7 Scores: second run

The PCMark Vantage points identified 6963 (first run: 6,752), which is a slightly below-average scores with this CPU + GPU combination. The Sony Vaio VGN-F22S1E / B recently gained 7488 points (also 7200 RPM HDD). Aspire 7750G with an identical processor provides 7402 points (HP 6850M). Only Packard Bell EasyNote TS11-HR-158GE and Samsung RF511 are cut off with 6,500 points, which is due to the 5400 RPM HDD, and if necessary to use a small turbo 2.0. In both of these laptops is identical with our Cinebench R11.5 test device Toshiba Satellite P755-S5385: 4.7 points.

SSD equipped laptops, e.g. the Alienware M17x R3 (GTX 460M, i7-2630QM) or XMG A701 (same), give significantly better scores (12.700 / 14.000). The hybrid HDD Momentus XT can not afford it. See the following in hard disk.

We have run the PCMark 7, which ends on an unusually high score of 2688 points (first pass: 2.496). A similar score was recently the gaming bolide MSI GT780R with GTX 560M (2.516 points, RAID 0 with 2 x 5400 RPM). The PCMark 7 honors the hybrid HDD, what we know by repeated execution of the System Storage tests: 2068, 2419, 2479, 2528, 2576, 2494, 2597, 2613th The score is increasing! The reason is that the hybrid HDD learn.

The 3D performance of the GeForce GT 540M (2048 MB DDR3), despite increasing the memory (otherwise usually 1,024 MB) on the normal level. The clock rate of 672/900 MHz (core / memory) corresponds to the standard specification.
