The ingredients and styles of beer

Jun 23rd 2014 at 9:09 PM

Raw materials for beer production:

Breweries use 4 basic raw materials are: malt, water, hops and yeast.

Malt that is dried and germinated grain- Mostly barley, wheat rarely impart a main flavor. Number of malt extract shapessweetnessand fullness of flavor.

Type malt gives it a whole range of odors. From light and bright aromas of malt and cereal biscuit with intense caramel, chocolate notes up to heavy roast, coffeearomas.

Character brown flavors depends upon the type of malt used for beer production. When we use more dark malt (roasted, caramel) flavor of beer will be more intense. Here it is worth mentioning Porterach, Stoutach, species which are known for their color and intense bouquet of flavor.
Stout beer is a species of dry taste, dark, almost black color. It comes from Ireland. For some, it may be associated with severe beer as Porter,

but nothing further from the truth. This drink has a slight fullness of flavor, which enhances pijalność, has a very intense aroma of roasted coffee and dark chocolate.

Interesting is the fact that the first stout made by accident. During the malting of grainbarley , it has been mistakenly significantly from burning. Brewer decided to exploit the raw material and it brewed beer. Beer is still an icon of British beers.

Cousin is stout porter, heavier, alcoholic beer smell of coffee, roasted malt and dark bread crust. The name derives from the porter porters or Irish dockworkers. The liquor was for them'' liquid bread'' and thus a source of calories after hard work in the port.
