3 cups. self-rising flour and sifted
2 fl.a sugar
1 teaspoon. soda
6 Tbsp cocoa
zest of 1 orange
2/3 cup. vegetable oil
2 tbsp vinegar
2 cups. water
icing sugar (for sprinkling at the end)
Mix all the dry ingredients. The same make and liquids.
I drop liquid to solid and knock the mixer for a few minutes.
Ladon and flour a cake form.
Throw the mixture, plank and bake in preheated oven at 170 degrees for ¾ of an hour.
We will see if it is ready, dipping the blade of a knife or skewer stick from the cake. If it comes out clean the cake is ready, if not cook further.
I take the cake from the oven, leave to cool and invert on a platter.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar
