•    Heart rhythm disturbances.  Dose determined by the physician. The patient may need to be tested regularly to hormones. Depending on the results of dose medication adjusted. Treatment of thyroid cancer in women after pregnancy also requires dose adjustment. Medicines for the treatment of thyroid cancer with increased secretion of hormones:

•    Tyrosol;

•    Mercazole;

•    Propitsil;

•    Diiodotyrosine.  These drugs are Anti-thyroid, i.e. means for suppressing the increased production and release into the blood of thyroid hormones. The main drawback of such treatment is death of thyroid tissue, a significant decrease in the functional activity of the organ. After some time, the patient will have to go on hormone replacement therapy.
