Children in Europe are absorbed too much mercury

Jun 15th 2014 at 11:58 PM

The aim of the program is to determine hazardous to health factors present in the environment to which children are exposed on the continent.

The study included children aged 6 to 11 years of age and their mothers at the age of 45. Since women and children collected urine samples and hair, which were then subjected to detailed analysis. Selected laboratories performed the analysis of the samples of mercury ,

cadmium (element much more toxic than arsenic), phthalates (contained in varnishes, paints, cosmetics) and cotinine (a metabolite of nicotine).   http://dukepetersonreview.inube.com/blog/3842715/how-to-restore-your-vision/

The project has an international team studied the levels of mercury in the bodies of European children. The results are surprising (publish them "Environmental Health"). 1 866 000 children are exposed - by the standards of the World Health Organization -

too intense contact with toxic methylate mercury in the samples were found more than 0.58 micrograms of this compound per gram of hair. contrast 232 000 children in its level is quite alarming, more than 2.45 micrograms per gram of hair.

The results showed that in different parts of Europe, children are not exposed to mercury in the same way, the worst in Portugal and Spain.   http://sarahwilcox.snack.ws/

Prof. Philippe Grandjean of the Danish Syddansk Universitet, leading the team, said: - Metylan mercury breaks down hundreds of years, many generations are exposed to its toxic effect. Why in Portugal and Spain, it is the most dangerous for children,   http://wilcox.webgarden.com/

if not agreed. In the Nordic countries the consumption of fish is greater, and yet that is where the problem does not occur.
