Why Missing Sleep is More Destructive Than Skipping Training When Trying to Gain Muscles
We all are aware of the many benefits of working out regularly - that's why we break a sweat numerous times a week and push ourselves constantly onwards in our quest to gain muscles.
We also tend to take an educative interest in nutrition. There has never been a generation of Bodybuilders who are so clued up on the various Vitamins, Minerals, Carbohydrate, Proteins and Fats contained within our food choices.
Yet, unbelievably to me, the one aspect of all Bodybuilding training that could provide bodybuilders with the greatest gains of their life is almost universally taken for granted.

The Various Benefits Of Sleep For Bodybuilders
Anyone who has ever read any number of my many Articles or Essays on Bodybuilding will have already seen me pen one of my most loved phrases.
Only after you've put them Weights back down does the body start the growth process. Anything before that is just breaking the muscle fibres down more.
When we go to Sleep, it is then that the body goes to work producing the most important chemical reaction in your 24 hour Calendar.
This truly miraculous Hormone serves as the body's healer and grower of truly powerful muscle fibres resulting in those rippling striated muscles that we all desire.
But not the world of Bodybuilding!
This is actually the magical time that our tiny Pituitary gland secretes HGH (Human Growth Hormone) and initiates repairs to the body.
The Pituitary gland is responsible for all your night time muscle gains and tissue repair. The Pituitary gland is the size of a small pea.
Do Not Disturb. Danger of NO MUSCLE GROWTH
That is why missing sleep is actually worse for you than skipping training.
