Said Adrian Taylor, a professor in the psychology of exercise and health at the University of in Britain, who headed the study "certainly exercises have temporary benefits, and thus can be recommended strongly" The findings are published in the journal Addiction.
In the experiments that have been used for this study, smokers randomly distributed either to do the exercises, mostly brisk walking or biking or doing some sort of activity, "passive such as watching a video or just sitting only. Overall, Taylor's team found that people have said that the desire to smoke after I do more exercises than ever before.
The reason is not known clearly. Taylor said it was possible the person exercises distracted from thinking about smoking and the presence of human activity in the case probably enhances the mood and then he does not feel a great need to improve his sense through smoking.
