Intensity techniques are very important to HD. Who trains with a partner, which is also indicated, may use the following techniques:

- Forced reps 1-2 reps with partner after exhaustion positive;
- Negative reps: Muscle exhaustion is performed after positive, but only the negative race, weight lifting partner;
- Static contractions: partner put weight on the bar and keeps the static phase 10-15s;
- Static contraction: as above, but after the last iteration contraction is positive and takes 20s or more;
- Tris repetitions: the curls, for example, by exhaustion position, raise the bar with lumbar and let down slowly on the negative phase;
- Burns = rep. Burned: After the positive, do 5-10 reps short, incomplete;
- Descending series: After the positive, it reduces the weight by 10%, they do a few reps and then reduce by 10% the weight and do a few reps and so on, with short breaks as long as necessary for weight reduction ;
- Break-reps reps: After the positive, place the barbell on the supports and pause for 10 seconds, then repeat again and so a few times.

Warning: these techniques will run occasionally their execution at every workout leading to over training
