Points to ponder your weight loss New Year's Resolutions . We are " naturally selected" in a very different lifestyle than we have today. Our sedentary lifestyles are just about the last 50 years - which is not a high level of evolutionary time line . Even if we think we are because we run 3 times a week, or go to the gym 5 times a week - by evolutionary standards - it still does not meet the criteria for activity. Activity is a measure of blood flow and oxygen consumption by the body all day .

Here's what happens when we lose weight fast : First of all, let's remember we are talking about losing weight - we are usually referring to the number of scale - which is a bad measure of fat loss . The scale does not tell us if we've lost fat ,

muscle , water or any other precious body fat loss resources .We to hone our wish list - in other words, the design of our weight loss program around scientific methods of fat loss and muscle mass has done . And yes, it science lose fat and save muscle .

Our muscles are what keeps us lean and fit, over the long haul . The reason a lot of people feel that to lose weight they were crying as they age because of the nasty fact of life called sarcoma pain: This is a beautiful scientific term to use it or lose it . If we do not continue our muscle mass, proper nutrition and physical activity and exercise (please note , I would like to emphasize physical activity and exercise - they are not the same) , then we sacrifice our muscles and bones. Serco pain is not doomed destiny - it is very possible to steer and maintain muscle tone and bone density, but the fad gimmick diets , hunger , lose weight quick schemes lead to the breakdown of muscle . Muscle is an absolute necessity for fat burning, staying fit, disease prevention, our immune function ... Our muscle mass is our BFF for life.
