The performance can be measured as labor productivity, as far as output and input can be measured. Note should be here is that productivity is a purely quantitative size. Productivities are best within an industry or activity compared with the same (homogeneity (equality) of the working conditions)
Example: Company A and B Schuster compare their productivity: DEWALT DW744XRS
A shoemaker makes shoes 50 pairs in 5 hours: power = 10 shoes per hour.
Schuster B produces 15 pairs of shoes in 1 hour: power = 15 shoes per hour.
These shoes are made of the work product (the product as a so-called output) and the used hours of labor input (input).
Calculation of labor productivity measured by output in general / measured input. Examples:
Labor productivity Schuster A: 50 pairs of shoes / 5 = 10 hours of work boots per hour
Labor productivity Schuster B: 15 pairs of shoes / 1 hour = 15 work boots per hour
Result: The productivity factor should be considered so at Schuster A with 10 shoes per hour, and at B with 15 shoes per hour.
