Every family member wants to be included in your wedding and you probably also want everyone to be there as well. This however, might mean that relatives from out of town or out of the country, will arrive before the wedding day. Though your hands will be full with wedding preparations before the wedding, you still have to attend to your guests, ensure they are c omfortable and that they are mingling with each other. To avoid being overwhelmed, plan these ideas beforehand. If you do them as an afterthought, you will be overwhelmed and you will spend too much money.

The first great thing you can do for your guests is to make them feel welcome, and the best way to do so is by holding a party. A party brings people together and makes them feel like they belong. A lot of people will be meeting each other for the first time and a party mood will help to ease the tension of meeting new people. You should keep the party really simple; if you decide to have a theme party, make sure it’s not overdone or that it doesn’t require your guests to spend large amounts of money. Let your guests know early in advance that you will be hosting a themed welcome party and that they can bring costumes with them. As some of your guests might forget to carry their costumes, you can get some  Halloween costumes Melbourne and dish them out to those who won’t have costumes. The great thing about a welcome costume party is that it keeps things casual and the costumes will be a good conversation starter.

If you are having a destination wedding, get a suite or a conference room that will serve as a common area for your guests to meet. Snacks and beverages should be served in the room and guests can assemble, relax or mingle. You should also consider some fun activities for your younger guests. Organize for activities with the hotel so that kids can be kept occupied with games, treasure hunts, swimming, riding or other activities that are kid-friendly at the destination. Taking a tour together is also a great idea especially for destination weddings. Choose to have your wedding in a city that is great for site seeing, bird watching, bike rides, boat riding and wine tasting and you and your guests will have a wonderful experience and create great memories. Last but not least, go paintballing together. Paintballing is suitable for both adults and kids and it will give everyone a chance to wear their army costumes and live out their fantasies about being in combat. You can even get some food and drinks or incorporate a barbecue party into the paintballing event. With these few ideas, your guests will have a great time before your wedding.
