Defy Your Genes…and Look Better in Your Jeans

Note: While writing an article about Laser Liposculpture, I noticed some ‘out-of-context’ and inappropriate comments on our site from a series of spamming / false profiles. Tracing the profiles to third world countries, they were reported and removed. For anyone whose comments have been attacked – do not take it to heart, as they are not real…nor are the ‘people’ behind them. And for those who are advertising their products or bashing people who are considering plastic surgery – they have also been reported. We take great pride in our site. It is genuine, and your comments matter to us. Anyone who seeks to be hurtful to our readers will be reported, so that you may feel safe in knowing that we read your comments and care about your feedback.

Now, why did I just add that disclaimer to an article about Laser liposculpture? Because one of the hateful little rats attacking our readers kept saying that if women would just get off their couches and diet and exercise, they wouldn’t need lipo. Most of us know that this is not true. Even the best diet and exercise programs still cannot reverse heredity, childbirth, aging, accidents, and disproportionate body parts – no matter how hard we try.

To begin, let’s back up. Ten+ years ago, I was the photographer / videographer for a live lipo procedure.  Back then, cameras were not generally allowed in an operating room – especially not for magazine coverage. The patient who consented to allow the cameras was a stunning, 5’10”, leggy, sexy, 29-year-old, blond, professional woman…who had attended 5 a.m. spinning classes EVERY DAY (yes, even on the weekends!) for the last 5 years. Even though she had an amazing diet and exercise routine; she still had ‘blocky’ hips and saddlebags on her outer thighs. She felt that as hard as she worked on her body, it would never look the way she wanted; so, she opted for a lipo procedure. She wanted the cameras, to prove that you could be tall, beautiful, young, athletic and slender…and STILL need lipo.

We applaud her courage at encouraging the cameras and article – and many women were heartened to realize that even someone like our ‘model’ patient actually needed the procedure. By the way, the results were stunning! She looked amazing. Her waist curved into her hips gradually, and she finally felt comfortable wearing slacks to her corporate job. She was ecstatic and you could see the extra confidence she gained from the experience.

Not everyone is born with the body they want…or even the one they worked so hard to get. If diet and exercise have not given you the body you deserve, take the bull by the horns. You have the right to ‘a positive payoff’ for all of your effort. So, to our ‘fake detractors’, I say…work on your own life; don’t give unsolicited advice, and do some research before blurting out insipid replies. Too bad they don’t have Laserliposculpture for the brain…LOL!
