Prior to attending any event, you need to clear your mind to know the reason why you’re attending, what you hope to gain and how it will be successful. Many people attend exhibitions just for the namesake without any strategy to increase business or generate sales. On the other hand, those who do end up with objectives that are too vague or non-measurable or unrealistic.

Computable objectives: Magic power of numbers

• Total number of cool, warm,  and hot prospects

• Hire new employees for the company

• Total attendance compared to previous years

Consider the following, when setting the objectives

• Set your adequate budget to exhibit successfully

• Have a goal when participating in bigger or leading companies in your field.

• Put in a system to measure your results or to maximize your participation

• Follow up leads after the stall designing services.

• Isolate one message to become a major focus as an exhibit.

• Be prepared to learn from your mistakes, even during the event itself.

• Adopt a solution driven approach when looking for solutions to their problems.

General goals:

You want to track the first-time attendees, but how?

Monetary goals:

Set specific goals to create the amount you’ve created for positioning ticket sales, day of event activities, sponsorships and donations that have come up with. Peruse last year’s budget to see what the new goals will be.
