The Age of Convenience has arrived – Solar powered charging stations in the US
With the rise of the “mobile civilization” came an instant demand – Easy charging of mobile devices, whenever and wherever required. With the “Office in your Pocket” range of business devices, the same demand became imperative. Add to this mix smart phones, higher powered processors, and more or less constant usage, and the demand became a necessity.
Interestingly, this was a case where supply didn’t know how to keep up with demand. The technology to provide go-anywhere charging didn’t exist. Despite all the hype from global marketing of the original mobile device culture, it’s interesting to note that it took a company from Alabama to actually solve this problem. A company called Sun Charge Systems Inc. came up with a very straightforward, very practical range of options to meet these demands.
Their basic idea, Solar powered charging stations, made a lot of sense. In context with the demand for being able to charge devices anywhere and everywhere, these solar powered stations were the perfect fix. The other idea, was to build in these charging stations directly into the environment. They came up with a range of products, including a solar park bench, a simple box charging station called the Old Town charging station, and a very low footprint/install anywhere “power pole” called the Power Tower.
These very useful products could quite literally be installed in any environment. Their power stations are now showing up in colleges, sporting venues, restaurants, parks, camping grounds, and well, wherever there are people. The less obvious advantage of these power stations is that they are very low maintenance, and like all solar power systems, simply need to be set up to start delivering value. This is the no-fuss way to manage demand for power, without the massive infrastructure and sometimes ridiculous costs of installing or reconfiguring new power systems.
There is no doubt about it – solar powered charging stations are here to stay. If you’d like to find out more about these stations, and/or are interested in installing solar power station in your business or community environment, visit the company website here at www.sunchargesystems.com.
