Planning Your Follow Up After Textile Exhibition In India

Jun 12th 2015 at 5:04 AM

One of the biggest mistakes to occur is to have a follow up meeting after events. Always follow up or have a wrap up meeting after events. The best time for this purpose is the week after your event. Hold on to follow up the fresher for relevant critique and suggestions for improvement. Some of the reasons to have a post-event follow up meeting:

Thank You:

Initially you might feel like you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders during the planning process. The team made the final product come together. Send or offer thanks to everyone contributing to the success of your event. This will add a pleasant conclusion to their experiences and looking forward to your next event.

Thank you is a good way to show your appreciation to companies and clients. This will remind about the highlights of experiences. Prepare for the event, keeping a list that will make follow up process much easier.

Show your client that you appreciate their business and also encourage them to work with  you again, leaving a good impression.

Debrief:

You’re among the best marketer out there. Ask for feedback to pull the team together and debrief your recent event.   Use a review process to step back from the event and look with the aim or goals in mind, and assess how well you achieved them. Getting everyone thought can help to generate ideas for improvement next time around.

Content:

Keep dropping quality content to your attendees may be in the form of multiple online channels, photos or video recordings during the event they might have missed. Don’t just get over the transmission  with the attendees. Extend the engagement of the attendees with some post-event content, like a follow up email newsletter with event highlights, or a Facebook photo album of attendees.

Promotion:

Continue to promote the products and services even after the conclusion of your event. This may be the best time to do this. Enjoy the event and learn to promote messages about complimentary products or services. Don’t let this opportunity get overlooked with the positive emotions that could work in your favor.

Follow up on yourself:

Tie up loose ends before moving to a new project. Keep your notes and ideas in mind to make this process easier and more effective, get onto it as soon as you can. It’s equally important to get feedback from others as soon as you can. This might also result on handing out, posting or emailing feedback forms, guest speakers to open discussion and what needs tweaking for the next time.

Reflect:

Take some time to give a clear overview of the event and how effective it is. Think of what you learned and do different next time. Take lessons and reflect on the event to share more ideas with them. Make plans to change the approach for improving your work. Treat it seriously and use it to your advantage.

Promote a special offer:

Attend an event to seek out exclusive special offer. Drive more interest and continue moving through the sales process. Drive immediate response to pricing, promotion/ discounted offer, free install/ waived install or free evaluation/ free assessment.
