Me and my guitar

About 5 years ago I started to teach myself how to play the guitar. For me it has been an

interesting adventure thus far. I bought my first guitar online from Ebay it is a Fender and I have

been using it ever since. Started out on several different beginners lessons and different online free c

courses that I could find and believe me there are a lot of them to choose from.

One day I happened along the best course, well the best one in my opinion anyways, that is called Marty Schwartz is the owner and operator of the site and I believe and excellent teacher.

if it were not for Mr. Marty Schwartz I probably wouldn’t be able to play might as well of given up on

the whole idea altogether as far as that goes. He is an excellent and inspirational teacher to say the least.

Marty Schwartz is his name guitar is his game so to speak. He gives away prizes all the time including

several guitars one of them was a fender jaguar and then another fender. There are a couple of Facebook

groups he started one is fender and the other is Gibson.

All in all the last five years for me and my playing have been memorable. My wife enjoys it and my children both ask me to teach them something all the time, which could mean I am either getting better

or they are making me feel good either way I am enjoying my time on the guitar.

There are several different places to get good lessons from that are free and there are also several

pay sites that I have been a member of that are good for beginners or even advanced guitarist. If you like

video lessons you can get a lot of lessons off of you tube.

In conclusion the old saying if I can do it then anybody can do it is probably true because I am 38 years old and teaching myself how to play the guitar, so if you have the ambition to learn something it is an

excellent hobby to take on. It is extremely relaxing and rewarding especially when you start playing some

of your favorite songs. So good luck in your ventures and god bless. I put a link to Marty Schwartz’s website below enjoy.

Hey there, I am just trying to learn to play the guitar myself and I am in my 60's. I have always wanted to learn and have purchased many guitars over the years and just never could learn to play. But, now I guess because I am older it is something that I really want to do before I leave this world. I really love the guitar sounds. I only have two guitars now and will look your site up online. Thanks for your great artical. Any guitar teachers out there want to message me it's fine with me.

Congratulations! Great Job! That must bring joy to your life and to be able to teach your children must be a joy in itself also I used to pick some when I was a teenager but have not touched a guitar since. I love listening to it though! Best Wishes Dee
