Language Learning

Jul 10th 2015 at 11:29 AM

Language learning can be a great challenge. But I may suggest to first listen for the first day just listen to the language either on TV, radio or a video. Know what you are going to get into. And know that you are going to learn to speak like what you heard on TV, radio or video.

Next get plenty of material if you are going for a self learning of the language. Get plenty of books on that language a history of the language and textbooks on pronunciation. One cannot guess how the sounds of the letters would be. Focus on sound the sounds of the letters. Gather all vowels, diphthongs, consonants and alphabet and for a lenghtly time focus on sound.

Next take time to know the grammar of the language and at the same time obtain audio of the language so you can constatly hear it. Go through the articles, numbers, verbs, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions and so on of the language.

Then start with short sentences and phrases and build it gradually into conversation. Try to get a native speaker who is bilingual or join a language exchange for conversation and dialogue.

At the same time have fun and enjoy knowing a new language. Don't get discourage if you are not making it right. Seek help and stick to it.
