· Efficiency: When you buy a mist collector, it is important that it removes as many droplets per cubic meter as possible. Higher is the number of droplets; greater is the efficiency (and cleanliness, obviously). Factors like suction capacity, rotator power and RPM of the motor determine it.

· Air flow rate: You need a mist collector that has the optimum air flow. Some people feel that high air flow means high cleaning capability. However, it is not the case always. Rather, a collecting system with high air flow wastes electrical energy and does not offer effective cleaning. Similarly, a collector with very low flow rate leaves mist droplets in the environment and doesn’t fulfill the basic purpose of it.

· Pressure drop: It is a critically important that determines the energy required to pull the particles with an adequate airflow in the mist collecting machine. Very high or very low pressures are not adequate.


You should look at these properties, but there are several other factors like the concentration of the mist, operating temperature and people working in the organization are equally important. They affect the effectiveness and performance of the mist collection system. You should look at competitive products and compare their technical specification and performance reports. It makes the decision accurate.
