How Well Do You Surf?
Just how well are you surfing?
There are so many ways to do things on your computer - yes, the mouse does a lot, but you can waste an awful lot of time if you only use your mouse.
Time to get started using combinations - keyboard and mouse.
For today, here's one BIG example you can get for free and start using right away.
It's called Quick Tab Change, and while most browsers have options to switch tabs quickly using keystrokes, they usually require 2 buttons and are limited to the same buttons - which may not beconvenient for YOU, especially if you are a lefty.

QTC lets you use just 1 of several buttons, the button can be on either side of the keyboard AND by changing the button you minimise wear and tear on your keyboard.
The main benefit is that you really can surf 40% faster (at least). Why, because when you have clicked the picture for the site you are on with one hand on your mouse, within a fraction of a second your other hand has hit the relevat button and moved you to the next site on the next tab.
Have a go - it's fantastic. And if you want still more buttons to choose from you can upgrade.
Until next time

Nov 23rd 2010 at 7:07 AM by checkthemout1st A handy alternative is the free Firefox extension "Tab Mix Plus". TMP allows you to set your browser to automatically switch to the next tab at a time you set.
You open the tabs with your TE's and log in and get the first surf page up in each, then push F8 (on mine, I think you can change keys if you want) to start automatically cycling through the open tabs.
I usually use 6 secs per tab, which gives potentially 300 sites per hour, although prize pages and surf verification pages can drop that total. TMP actually will detect if you're trying to catch a prize or verifyer and delay switching to the next tab, but it's easy enough to hit F8 and turn it off to do what's needed, then hit F8 again to resume.
Tab Mix Plus is free, and really very handy when powersurfing multiple traffic exchanges. Letting the browser cycle through the tabs for you saves alot of button pushing and lets you just worry about clicking the right image most of the time.
Hope this is helpful to fellow surfers
