The moment we start getting closer to the finish line of the year, we start analysing the work we did the whole year. We review our goals and resolutions made for the year and keep pushing them to the next year, promising ourselves to fulfil all them without letting anything come in between them. Its an age old ritual which we follow without fail and now it has become part of our DNA. The big challenge is ending the year with the same drive and resolve with which we started it. Here are seven actions that we feel might help in achieving what was mean't to achieve:

While the whole situation is understandable, it's the defense that helps in getting the innovative ideas to cope up with the loss of their bread-and-butter auto insurance business to online sales. The Knee-Jerk Negativism: It is said the only thing that is constant is the "Change". Be it our lifestyle or the technology. New technologies come up and we start depending upon them and adapt to it. It's much easier to say, "We know what our customers want."

A dip into the digital pool: Many people are still not clear with the idea and need of having an insurance. They think of it as less exciting job and won't mind giving it a pass. The reason is people think of it as a never ending process. Nowadays the insurance companies follow a simplified way of delivering the policies in two hours. Even though premiums may be higher, the convenience may be worth it.

Let the innovation speak: Innovation not only can speak for you but can also convince customers to pay for it willingly. The opportunities are everywhere, the only thing you need is a mind which can innovate new things or ideas.

Connect the dots: The only way to make customers stick to you is tying everything together for customers. You need to make everything available for them as a one stop shop. Tying everything together in a flow is what customers want.

Every year should be new with a different resolution and goals that can be met and fulfilled within the same year. It takes the right strategy to make sure the end is even better than the beginning.
